How do I use a cartridge?

Follow these steps for a seamless experience: 

  • Attach the Cartridge: Gently remove the protective cap to expose the threading on your cartridge. Screw the cartridge onto the 510 thread of your battery, whether it’s your own personal battery or an Urb 510 Clicker Battery. Turn it clockwise until snug, but be cautious not to overtighten. Overtightening the cartridge onto the battery can create a vacuum effect, making it harder for the oil to flow smoothly.
  • Power On Your Battery: Turn on your 510 thread battery according to its specific instructions. This usually involves pressing a button a certain number of times. To turn on your Urb 510 Clicker Battery, click the button 5 times. 
  • Adjust Settings (if applicable): Some batteries have adjustable settings. If needed, adjust the voltage or temperature settings based on your preference. For the best experience, we recommend using only the lowest voltage setting to avoid burning of the coil or further malfunctioning. 
  • Inhale Gently: Once your cartridge is securely attached, take a slow and gentle inhale while holding the button on your battery down. 
  • Monitor Usage: Keep an eye on the remaining product in your cartridge. When it’s running low, it’s time to consider a replacement.

We understand that a clogged cartridge can be frustrating, but don’t worry; we’re here to help you troubleshoot. Follow these steps to unclog your cartridge: 

Check the Battery: 

  • Ensure that your 510 thread battery is fully charged and functioning properly.

Inspect the Cartridge: 

  • Examine the cartridge for any visible blockages. If you see anything obstructing the airflow, carefully remove it using a small tool or by gently tapping the cartridge on a solid surface.

Adjust the Battery Settings: 

  • If your battery has adjustable voltage settings, try lowering or increasing the power to find the optimal setting for your cartridge.

Warm the Cartridge: 

  • Gently warming the cartridge can sometimes help unclog it. Use your device’s pre-heating setting (if applicable) or hold the cartridge in your hands for a few minutes. 

Clear the Airflow Path: 

  • Use a paperclip or a similar tool to clear the airflow path. Insert it carefully into the mouthpiece end and gently wiggle it to remove any blockages.

Prime the Cartridge: 

  • Take a few short inhales without activating the battery. This can help create suction and draw out any clogs.

Keep it Upright:  

  • Store your cartridge in an upright position to prevent any oil leakage. Storing the cartridge upright and securely capped minimizes the risk of leakage. This ensures that your product stays where it belongs – in the cartridge.

 

Keep the cartridges out of the light:

  • A dark space for storage prevents light from degrading the products over time and causing oxidation of the distillate to occur. Opt for a storage space that’s sealed off and dark.

 

Avoid high temperatures:

  • Store your cartridge in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Extreme temperatures can impact the viscosity of the oil and may lead to leakage or clogging. Make sure not to store your cartridges near a heat vent in your home, on a windowsill, in your car’s glove box on a hot day, etc.. Exposure to air, light, and extreme temperatures can impact the viscosity of the oil, potentially causing clogs or affecting the overall vaping experience, and can also degrade the quality of the product over time.

 

Keep the terminal (the part that contacts the battery) and threads clean:

  • During storage or normal use, a small amount of sticky light brown residue can accumulate at the terminal or threads. It can be removed by lightly cleaning the area with a cotton swab dipped in isopropyl alcohol. Avoid using too much alcohol, the goal is to pick up the residue with the swab’s tip. Multiple passes may be needed – just repeat until no more residue comes off on the swab. Let the alcohol dry completely before using the cartridge. 

 

If residue has built up, or the cartridge hasn’t been used in a while, the ball or valve that regulates the liquid can get stuck. If cleaning won’t allow it to move, you may want to apply light pressure to the valve with a small blunt tipped object like a toothpick. After loosening it, another cleaning may be warranted. 

By following proper storage practices, you extend the overall shelf life of your cartridge, allowing you to enjoy its benefits for a more extended period. Our 2.2ml Cartridges are compatible with most “510 Thread” batteries, we recommend purchasing a “stick” battery as some batteries will not fit the width of the 2.2ml cartridges. The width of our 2.2ml cartridges are about 13.69mm. 

Batteries are not included with the purchase of cartridges and will need to be purchased separately. Our 510 Clicker Battery is now available for any 1 – 3 gram cartridges.

The general range is 3.3-3.8 volts. Some consumers prefer a little lower around 2.7-2.8 volts to use the distillate more slowly and to prevent the distillate from burning. Batteries vary and a best practice would be to start lower and slowly raise the voltage to find the optimal setting. 

Before using your vape cartridge, it’s crucial to ensure proper priming to avoid burning the coil and experiencing an unpleasant taste during vaping. Follow these steps:

Check Intake Holes: 

  • Verify that all four intake holes at the base of the cartridge are completely covered with oil. If not covered, refrain from using the cartridge until the holes are fully saturated.

 

Wait or Accelerate the Process: 

  • If the intake holes are not covered, you can wait for the oil to naturally fall and saturate the coil (may take over 24 hours). To expedite the process, use a hairdryer or heat gun to warm the bottom half of the cartridge for 30 seconds until the intake holes are covered.

 

To avoid a burnt taste, consider the following tips: 

 

Voltage Settings: 

  • Begin with a lower voltage setting on your 510 thread battery. Gradually increase the voltage until you find the optimal setting, preventing the oil from overheating and producing an unpleasant flavor.

Activation Intervals: 

  • Inhale while activating the battery to prevent the oil from overheating. Avoid prolonged activation without inhaling; take short, controlled puffs for even vaporization.

Monitor Oil Levels: 

  • Maintain an adequate oil level in the cartridge to prevent exposure of the heating element to air. Replace the cartridge before the oil reaches critically low levels. 

Avoid Over Tightening: 

  • Screw the cartridge onto the battery until snug to ensure proper airflow. Avoid over-tightening to prevent a vacuum effect that can lead to oil flooding and a burnt taste.

Activate your battery with one simple click.  This 650mAh battery features a 10 second preheat setting to combat clogged cartridges. Try the variable heat settings to customize your experience. Easily charge your battery with the included Type-C charging cable. One full charge lasts about 5-6 hours. Use the magnetic connector to fit any 1 to 3 gram cartridges.

Click Settings: 

  • 5 clicks (On/Off)
  • 2 clicks (Pre-Heat at 1.8V)
  • 3 clicks (Change Voltage Setting)

 

Voltage Settings: 

  • Green is the highest voltage (3.5V) – LED Indicator Blinks Twice
  • Blue is the medium voltage (3.3V) 
  • Red is the lowest voltage (3.0V) – LED Indicator Blinks Once

 

Connect the magnetic connector with the threads closest to the bottom of the cartridge.  

*Caution: Using the preheat settings can heat the magnetic connector. Wait for the cartridge to cool before disconnecting the connector from the cartridge base. 

How do I use a 3ML disposable?

How to Use:

  • To turn ON/OFF, press the leaf button five (5) times.
  • ON – Green flashes three (3) times. 
  • OFF –  Red flashes three (3) times.

 

Charging:

  • Comes charged; recharge using USB-C cord (not included).
  • Charging time: 3-4 hours.
  • Charging indicator: Flashing green light.
  • Fully charged: Solid green light.
  • Dead Battery: Red light flashes ten times (10x)

 

Voltage Settings:

  • Green: High (3.5), Blue: Medium (3.3), Red: Low (3.0).
  • For best experience: Use the low (red) setting to avoid coil burning or further malfunctioning.

 

Preheating for Clogs:

  • Press button twice (2x) for preheating at 1.8 voltage.
  • During preheat, take a few pulls without activating the battery. Stop preheating once the coil clears. This can help create suction and draw out any clogs.
  • *Note: Only use pre-heat when the device is clogged.

 

Additional Tips:

  • Only use low temp (red) for the best experience.
  • Only use pre-heat when the device is clogged.

Battery Not Charging

When charging, ensure you are using the correct USB-C charging cable (not included).

Device Not Producing Vapor

First, ensure the device is fully charged. If the issue persists, attempt the clogging tips below.

Device is Clogged

  • 2ML Disposables: Blow into the charging port gradually, increasing pressure until airflow and vapor are visible from the mouthpiece.If still clogged, use a hair dryer or heat gun on the lowest heat setting for 10-15 seconds with the disposable upright. After heating, wait one minute, then try vaping.
  • 3ML & 4ML Disposables: If resistance is felt during a hit, indicating a possible clog, press the button twice to activate preheat at a 1.8 voltage setting. Pull on the device during preheat without activating the battery, and stop the preheat once the coil clears. **Note: Only use preheat when the device is clogged.

 

Device Overheating

Discontinue use immediately. Let the device cool down before attempting to use it again. If the problem persists, contact our customer service team.

Strange Taste or Burnt Flavor

This could be a sign of a depleted or burnt-out coil. Ensure the device is adequately charged and stored properly, and if the issue persists, consider replacing the disposable.

Inconsistent Battery Life

Check for any debris or foreign material around the battery connection points. Clean the contacts with a dry cotton swab. If the issue continues, it may be time to replace the disposable.

There are three different voltage settings with these disposables and this can be changed by pressing the button (3) times.

Green is the highest voltage (3.5v)

Our 3ML devices come charged but can be recharged using a “USB-C” charging cord. This device fully charges in about 3-4 Hours depending on the battery level. 

Our 2ML devices come charged but can be recharged using a “MICRO USB” charging cord. This device fully charges in about 3-4 Hours depending on the battery level. 

Charging cords are not included with the purchase of disposable and will need to be purchased separately. Unfortunately, Lifted Made does not have charging cords available for purchase on our website however; cords can be purchased at most gas stations, retail stores, and even online!

  • Exposure to air, light, and extreme temperatures can impact the viscosity of the oil, potentially causing clogs or affecting the overall vaping experience, and can also degrade the quality of the product over time.

One of the most obvious signs that a disposable is finished is when you stop getting vapor from it. Another factor to consider is the taste of the vapor. If it starts to change, tastes burnt or harsh, it’s time to discard the disposable.

How should I store my edibles?

Proper storage of Urb products is important. It can limit exposure to environmental factors that cause these products to degrade more quickly. It’s pretty simple, too. 

To make your Urb edibles last as long as possible, you should: 

Limit exposure to humidity.

Keep your Urb products in a dry place. A drawer or cabinet can work especially well because it also helps to address our next point.

Keep them out of the light. 

A dark space for storage prevents light from degrading the products over time. Opt for a storage space that’s sealed off and dark.

Avoid high temperatures. 

High temperatures can also cause the edibles to lose potency. Don’t store your edibles near a heat vent in your home, on a windowsill, or in your car’s glove box on a hot day. Optimal storage is in a refrigerator, but storage in a room temperature area is fine otherwise. 

Only open products when you’re ready to use them.

If you tend to make an occasional large purchase, it is recommended to resist the temptation to sample everything when it arrives. Work your way through a package of gummies, chocolate, etc. before moving on to the next product or flavor.

All of our edible products come with serving size instructions. Follow the serving size instructions and remember to go slow. Edibles kick in slowly, but will last long so don’t take too many to start! 

In most cases, edibles will begin kicking in about 30 minutes. However, depending on the individual, it may take up to several hours for the edible to break down and release the cannabinoids. 

How do I use flower?

There are many ways you can use flower including; smoking it, cooking with it, and much more!

Hemp flower works best when it’s fresh, so you’ll want to store your nugs properly to extend their shelf life and experience the potency and flavors at their best stage. 

It is not recommended to keep your flower in the fridge or freezer. By keeping in the freezer or fridge you might be exposing your buds to different temperatures and terpenes leave the buds every time you open the jar or container. Unless you live in a place that is really hot during the summer or you have no other place to store it, It’s recommended to skip the fridge or freezer entirely. 

Urb’s 7G Caviar Flower comes in air-tight glass jars accompanied by a 2-way hydration pack which helps assist with humidity control and helps prevent the buds from losing their potency or flavors. Dark, cool places are the best to prevent too much exposure from light, moisture, or changes in temperature. Avoid sunlight, heat and excessive exposure to air.

Here is an insider scoop on Urb’s Oregon hemp farm: While our farm is not officially organic, it is organically grown with absolutely no pesticides or chemicals involved.
